Parker Palm Springs

Couldn’t have been happier with our experience. It was an incredible stay. The service was impeccable, the property was so unique and the rooms were spacious and luxurious. We only got to try Norma’s but their breakfast was delicious and again, service was all-time. Everyone from Mike at valet, Darren from front desk, Vanessa from Norma’s, sincere thanks for the attentive and thoughtful time.

The Parker was beyond 5 stars. Our family has stayed at many high end five star reviewed resorts and the Parker by far surpassed our expectations. From the moment we entered, the reception area smelled so good and refreshing, it was such a nice touch. The general manager, and I am so sorry forgot his name was incredibly charismatic. Honestly, the attention to detail both in their decor, amenities and especially staff was just amazing. The restaurant Norma's shots of smoothies each time was such a treat and delicious. There were so many little things that made our family's stay enjoyable and for sure wanting to come back next year. But the best part was the carpets ont he dirt paths that encompassed the property. That was my favorite part. Oh and how the staff would literally stand to the wall when they saw a guest coming in the same direction. I just thought that was so classy to move out of the way and make room for you. Incredible, kudos to all those hardworking people who make this hotel such a great experience.

I had eaten at the Parker 6 years ago and was pleased with the food and service, so I thought we would go again in 2023 and was embarrassed for the establishment as it has fallen from grace . It’s dirty and needs a paint job and they sat us at a disgusting dirty table and acted offended when called out on it. Then reseated inside at another dirty table next to filthy doors leading into the kitchen. It was a horror show on so many levels. As I went from the over priced food to the dirty restroom in the lobby I noticed the whole place was just neglected the floors and walls and art work . It seemed to have a new staff of immigrants that smoked and spoke Spanish and reeked of cologne even the glasses that they touched in serving me tasted like the cologne. Anyhow I generally don’t leave bad reviews but for the prices I have too . In my opinion this place needs to be shut down for three months of cleaning and painting and taken over by new management. I would not recommend it to anyone unfortunately as I used to rave about it.

This stay was a disaster. Everything started great until I got to my room to use the sinks. The sinks were clogged which led to me being late for my dinner. Speaking of my dinner I had to wait an extra 55 minutes when earlier I had requested for a little later seating. So they had me rushing with clogged sinks and thinking I was going to be late when in reality I had to wait longer than the extended time I asked for. The next morning when I tried to shower the shower drain was also clogged. I saw the engineer unclog the drain with some black mold come out. That filled me with straight disgust and I had them move me to another room. I lost the day because I had to pack and unpack for the room transition. I also had a reservation for a desert ride that went to waste. In other words I lost $800 dollars. The other room was ok for the most part until it came to closing the shower door. It would not fully close so I had to call the engineer again. He couldn’t fully fix it so I had to deal with it. Christmas night I wanted a s’more’s package to go with the fire pit. Well I expected to wait 20-30 minutes. I waited 55 minutes and called room service to find they never placed the order. So I cancelled the order as it was late and I felt tired. Next morning I am checking out and I talked to the hotel director. The hotel director Michelle was of no help. All she offered was another stay that I would still have to pay for. I have no clue what would make her think I wanted another stay. In the very end she only offered a $100 dollar discount on the room and 50% discount on the food. I could not have been more dissatisfied with my stay.

My husband and I had brunch at Norma's inside of the Parker Palm Springs hotel. The food was good along with the service. I would say the biggest downfall is that they will not allow you to walk the grounds after you dine there. Along with some of the other reviews, if you spend as much money as you do between food, drinks and valet, you would at least hope to get to walk around for a bit to enjoy the nice oasis they have created. We were told by the one of the security staff to save our pennies to stay there next time. I would have preferred to not have that comment said to us...
